Casanova Restaurant in Essen

bought a voucher at groupon and made an appointment for yesterday via the website. However, no one has answered for a week and I have not gone because I discovered a review here in which others were in the same situation and stood in front of the closed door (also despite the reserved appointment)

Great music, food could be varied.

We booked a 5-course candlelight dinner for 5 p.m. today and paid in advance via Groupon. Despite the confirmation of the reservation, I am now with my companion in front of a locked door. An absolute no-go !!! The reservation has not been canceled and the owner cannot be reached by phone. This is a bottomless cheek. The whole thing has one advantage. The handrail at the entrance had a thick layer of dust and cigarette remains lay on the floor next to the ashtray set up in the entrance. The windows and blinds were also very dirty. Through the window one could take a look at candles tormented by the sun. With so much attention to detail, we would not have felt comfortable there. Thank you so much for saving us.

There is rather no Russian here. One dish as a starter and one dish as the main course. With the voucher book, the meat portion (300g) is simply divided for 2 people. The ambience is more like a bowling alley.

The food and service was a 10/10. Surprising that it was rather empty here. So really great without exception, we'll be back 100% !!

There were friends in this badegi, an old German Kneipp with old furniture, but the prices are in a good restaurant !!! The buffet is very weak, especially since everything is limited, especially meat dishes, small portions. Leadership is arrogant. There are few people, Music a la 90 !!! Remained hungry, although they paid quite a bit !!! We do not recommend this institution. ?

Nice, once a week Georgian cuisine with live music. Recommended!

People I was there and spent 140 € for about 4 hours and I went hungry again out of the restaurant. When I booked there I was promised that you can reorder any amount of food, but this takes 2 hours and then could not be handled properly. After asking the staff what was going on, all I got was the frightening answer that we were not alone. This annoyed me a lot, which is why I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was not bad .... but when ordering it was promised that without problems it would be possible to order before but the problem was big in barbecue and very few .... people left hungry ... staff not quite polite (not all). ... the director of the institution itself is very rude and incompetent ......... she talks very rudely with the guests ..... the prices are too high ........ the dance floor is very small ....... We’ll visit this place again .....

Russian evening with very special food, was delicious but not necessarily something for everyone

The service is good, the room is large but not very comfortable, the former Kneipp, the furniture is new, there is no design, the lighting is pleasant, the food could be tastier, the prices are a bit overpriced, there is a garten (exit to the garden) very nice but at a big intersection, the music is excellent. Very little people ... There is no sense of celebration! Perhaps 3+ ..

Super authentic and very tasty Russian cuisine, fast and nice service! Keep up the good work! Recommendation to all the like delicious food for a fair price like !!!
